To increase extension of the cervical vertebrae at each individual segment.


Do this slowly and get feedback.


Have client supine.

Press the lateral edge of your index finger in between the spinous processes of the cervical vertebrae and lift while your other hand raises and lowers clients head. The lifting should be done while lowering your clients head.

The intention is to open the joint spaces in between the cervical vertebrae anteriorally.
