With your client lying on their side with their hip flexed, 
press into the psoas around the inguinal ligament or into 
the iliacus around the inside of the iliac crest. 

Hyperextend your client’s hip while maintaining the 
pressure with your fingers. Your client may also do this as 
an active movement, hyperextending their hip as you hold 
their knee for support.
