Press with thumbs into spaces between transverse processes on either side of your client’s spine. You can work down the spine, over the notches in the sacrum, and around the iliac crest, holding each point for several seconds.

I like to watch the client's breath, and press into the points as they exhale, then slowly let up and move to the next point as they inhale. Breath in sync with your client as you do this, then slow down your breathing and they will slow down as well.
