The deltoid muscle originates on the inferior side of the spine of the scapula out to the acromion process, and the lateral third of the clavicle.
The fibers of the deltoid all converge and insert on the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus.
The anterior fibers of the deltoid cause shoulder flexion and horizontal adduction.
The lateral fibers of the deltoid produce shoulder abduction.
The posterior fibers of the deltoid cause shoulder extension and horizontal abduction.

During this time the video library is open to public, no login or registration necessary. We appreciate your patience with this process.
