Acupressure
Joseph Carter, L.Ac. has been a Licensed Acupuncturist since 1987 and a teacher of Acupressure and Asian Healing Arts since 1984. Formerly director of the Acupressure Institute (Berkeley, California), he has taught Acupressure and other hands-on healing modalities for over 30 years. In addition to his teaching, Joseph maintains a private practice in Northern California, specializing in the treatment of gynecological and immunological concerns. The heart of Joseph’s practice and teaching is the skillful use of theory combined with compassionate touch. He was selected one of the top 10 experts in Acupuncture for the San Francisco Bay Area (SF Focus Magazine, 11/1997), noted specifically for his combination of Acupressure with Acupuncture.
