ResponsiveMultiLevelMenu (codrops) style requires jQuery library version 1.7 or higher, but you have opted to provide your own library. Please ensure you have the proper version of jQuery included. (note: this is not an error)
There are many different causes of low back pain. If the low back pain is severe, if there is paralysis, or if there is impaired bowel or bladder function then it is important to refer the client to a qualified physician.
For clients with low back pain I often start with doing Pelvic Stabilization, to help assess what muscles are tight and what restrictions there are in range of motion.
A very common pattern I see with clients that sit a lot is that they will tend to have tight hip flexors (Psoas & Iliacus) and weak inhibited hip extensors (Gluteus Maximus). Stretching the Psoas and strengthening the Gluteus Maximus usually helps their back pain.
I also see clients with one side of the pelvis hiked up. Stretching the Quadratus lumborum on the high side may help to bring balance to the pelvis and ease the low back pain.
Leg length imbalance can also be a factor in low back pain. In many cases the pelvic stabilization protocol will also balance the leg lengths, but if it doesn't, I will do leg length balancing techniques to balance the pelvis and ease the stress on the low back.
Releasing tight muscles is only half of the equation, as it is also important to strenghten the weak inhibited muscles. Resistance Release work is excellent for this, as it helps your client make the neurological connections for the movement patterns that need to be strengthened.
