Pendulum Exercise

This is a great self-care exercise for people with rotator cuff and shoulder impingement problems.

Let your arm hang and have it move by moving your body forward and back and side to side. This movement should be pain-free.

Eventually, you can hold a small weight in your hand as you do this exercise. You may slowly increase the weight up to a maximum of 3 pounds.
